What you think about you bring about!
Did you know there’s a silent, global epidemic that touches almost every single one of us? This is an issue that likely impacts you or someone close to you, and it’s this:
“Like a person think so are they”
Meaning all our struggles comes from “wrong” thinking
Our struggles with money, there’s “millions” (off course I am exaggerating a little, just a little though) of people giving advice on how to experience financial freedom. Still the vast majority of all people are struggling to make ends meet.
Here’s another one that I am sure many of you can relate to…!
Our struggles with weight, body image, overeating, binge eating, endless dieting, emotional eating, and health concerns that have a psychological or emotional component such as digestion, fatigue, mood, immunity and more…
Our relationship with food is clearly disordered.
We’re bombarded constantly with diet and nutrition advice from a $500 billion global diet industry (which often sucks). You can eat everything organic and still gain weight and have issues around food. The statistics are humbling:
• Nearly 70% of American adults are classified as either overweight or obese
• An estimated 108 million Americans are on a diet
• A staggering 98% of those who diet gain back the weight they lose within a year
• Adolescent girls are more afraid of gaining weight than getting cancer, losing their parents or nuclear war
• 2 out of 5 women polled would give up 3-5 years of their life to realize their weight loss goals
And don’t think the statistics is any different in your country, this is a global epidemic.
Not only do we experience problems with the abovementioned but this epidemic has over flown to everything in our lives, from money to relationships. What you think about you bring about
This is stunning.
And it’s why we need a new Thinking Psychology for everyone.
So let me ask you this:
Is there something that you know that would make a big difference for your health, wealth or relationships that you’re just not doing?
Or, are you doing everything you’ve been told to do, and still not getting the results you want?
The good news is, Thinking Psychology can help you figure out why.
It can help you figure out why you don’t do what you know you “should” and why some approaches that work for others don’t work for you.
Your life will not otherwise manifest as the choices you make in life. You are free to choose (or are you?), but never free from the consequences of your choices. The choices you made yesterday determined what you experience today. The choices you make today will determine the person you are going to be tomorrow.
The problem is that very few people have been taught how to make the “correct” choices for a more happy and fulfilled life.
Think about this, if you were taught to make “better” choices in the past, would your life be different now?
Bet your bottom dollar…it would definitely be better!
Okay, if you really want to learn how to make better choices you have to consistently ask yourself three questions.
And those three questions are…….. Be on the lookout for our next post on Thursday and I’ll share these three liberating questions with you that’s guaranteed to take your life to the next level if you consistently apply it.
If you don’t want to wait until Thursday, drop me a mail and I’ll gladly share it with you before I share it with the masses ockert@icon.co.za
