In the Vedic calendar, there are 2 solstices. One is for the northward movement of the Sun and the other is for the southward movement. The north movement is called “Dawn in Heaven”, and it is the most important solstice as per the renewal of the world is concerned

On Friday, January 15th (1:20 AM IST), the Sun moves into Capricorn and begins its journey northward. North is the direction of the “banker”. According to Vedic Astrology (Astroved), this is the time when Sun’s energy supports financial growth.

It’s also the perfect time for reassessment, making changes and embarking on new ventures; be it personal or professional. The Sun’s energy supports starting new ventures or even creating a brand new life.

This transit creates opportunities for you to drop bad habits and empower your vows and resolutions.

Connecting with the Sun on January 15th (IST), is an incredibly potent time to empower your New Year Goals and to jumpstart all your activities for the year.

Sun is the supreme ruler of the Solar System, and this will help you flourish with good health, wealth, success and happiness. Sun rules your brain and determines your actions. Just spend some time in the Sun to connect with the energy of the Sun, off course you can do some Sun gazing if you want to 🙂

Dawn in Heaven: Perfect Time to De-clutter Your Life

You can’t put more “stuff” into a “box” that’s already full.

It is a time to clean your home and your mind. So today, Thursday, be sure to go through your closets and throw out all junk, new and old. Also, it is a good time to review and let go of old thoughts and belief systems that are no longer serving you.

One of the quickest ways to increase your level of positivity and motivation and manifestation power is to let go…….of all “stuff” that does not serve you anymore.

Here’s a very powerful affirmation to be repeated while you get rid of the “Stuff”

“Every time I let go and get rid of ‘stuff’, God is blessing me!

I believe that God is the source of all supply, and that ‘abundance and happiness is God in Action.’ I believe that my good is now flowing to me so richly and so fully that I have an abundance of money to spare and to share, today and always.

I believe that true Prosperity includes perfect health, perfect wealth, and perfect happiness. This word which I speak in faith believing now activates a Law of Universal Good, and I accept the results! I bless all the Good that is with me now, I bless the increase.”

This is also a good affirmation to keep in mind the ‘whole’ of tomorrow as you connect with the energy of the Sun.
