Experts from “The Manifesting Bible”

Preface

This book is about my new approach to manifesting.

To assume my desires as fulfilled immediately…… and then let them show up for me.

I have an easy, no BS approach towards manifesting. My mantra is: if you struggle – you’re doing it wrong.

I say no to time-consuming, complicated techniques.

I teach the law of assumption and identity-based manifesting in a practice-oriented way.

Work with me

As you read through the book and apply the techniques make this your motto: What can I learn? What can I learn about me?

This book as all things, came into being because of a thought acted upon. I first “ran into” Neville in 2011 through his books and lectures.

It immediately resonated with me because I was at that stage developing two courses, “Change your Memory, Change your Life” and “The Awakened Imagination Challenge”

Both of these course was based on Genesis 6:11 “Nothing they imagined will be impossible for them” and Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I AM God” and Jeremiah 29: 11 – 12 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

The word heart in Hebrew is “Laybawb” and translates into “The faculty of the mind, your subconscious way of thinking by implication your imagination”

Through a series of tragic events in my life I nearly lost it all and only recently remembered those teachings and Neville Goddard.

The purpose of this book is to share with you some of the manifestation techniques Neville taught to create the life of your dreams.

I will also endeavour to expound on these techniques with some examples of my own practical implementation of them, then and now.

To make the techniques even more understandable I’ll also elaborate on certain laws and principles that Neville speaks about.

Neville explained that the ark of life contained and could be understood on three levels: the literal, psychological and spiritual. The lectures which are available deal mainly with the spiritual.

However, because those who are now hearing his words on tapes and reading his lectures, did not hear him speak on the second (or psychological) level, I realized the need to provide that psychological plane as a foundation for the higher, spiritual level.

And so, the thought was planted in my mind. What if there were some lectures that taught this principle on a practical level?

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if such a series could be found and made available for those who would desire it?

When I first started studying Neville, I knew that, although the outer me did not understand all his thoughts, the inner me was singing the Hallelujah Chorus, for I had found the cause of all life…, that my very thought, mixed with feeling, was an imaginal act which created the facts in my world.

I remember the first night I lay in my bed and dared to claim, “I AM God.” Afraid that the ceiling would crash down on me, I quickly covered my head – just in case. And when nothing happened, I gathered more courage and set out to prove for myself that imagination could create reality.

I did not believe it could, and I wanted to prove Neville wrong. (Please take note that I am not saying that I am God of this universe, that job is already take – thank you, I am saying I am God of my own universe, so are you by the way. J)

That was back in 2011, and I haven’t succeeded in proving it wrong yet. Not all of my imaginal acts have come to fruition, but I now know that the fault does not lie in the teaching, but in my belief in myself. And, as I have grown in my belief and trust and faith in what I have imagined, I have gained confidence in my own wonderful human imagination.

When I again remembered John 14:10, “I am IN you, As you Through you”, from that moment on, my fears have vanished and, since that time, I have again gained confidence in my teaching, writing and ministry.

The techniques are Neville’s techniques – Neville’s thoughts – yet we are so closely woven in the tapestry of thought that the words and techniques are now mine.

The words are true and, hopefully understandable enough so you can test them and discover for yourself that when the truth is applied, it is made alive by a spiritual experience.

Always bear in mind that when Neville speaks of “man,” he is speaking of generic man (man/woman). Man is the external world, the natural man; while imagination is the internal world, the man of spirit.

God (imagination) became the natural man that the man of nature may become God who is Spirit.

Always think of yourself as two beings, one who sees through the organs of sense and the other through the mind of imagination.

And always remember God’s name as he revealed it to Moses. “I AM. That is who I AM. And by this name, I shall be known throughout all generations. I AM that I AM.”

I the trinity, in unthinkable origin, AM God the Father. And I in creative expression AM the Son, for imagination is born of consciousness. Therefore I, in universal interpretation, in infinite imminence, in eternal procession AM God, the Holy Spirit.

I suggest that you read the book from cover to cover, and then decide on which techniques you want to try.

Okay, let’s have fun J

Introduction Neville Goddard Techniques

Neville Lancelot Goddard opened our eyes to the deep and powerful secrets of our Mind. What we see on the outside in our daily affairs and circumstances is simply our imagination/thoughts pushed out.

Neville revealed that the characters or personalities from the Bible are allegorical and represent facets of our imagination. Through Neville’s teachings we learn that the main character of the Bible is our own wonderful Human Imagination.

All the things you see in your world are simply the manifestations from your inner mind or your imagination. Neville taught us that by changing what we are imagining, we can change our worlds.

Remember that these techniques can be (and often are!) blended together.

Why is that?

They can be blended together because these techniques are all attempting to do essentially the same thing; namely, change what is happening within your almighty, beautiful imagination.

You will notice many similarities in the techniques as you read.

The main thing to take away from these techniques is that you don’t need to use all of them. Find the one (or ones) that work best for you…and use them. The time will come when a whole new world will open up to you!

Finally, there are three things you need to know before starting.

Three Things You Need to Do Once You Know What You Want

  1. Find a Private Place Before engaging in any manifesting technique you must have a private place where you can go and not be disturbed. It should be somewhere that you can close your eyes, relax, and commune within yourself for several minutes without fear of anyone seeing or hearing you.

Engaging in these techniques is a deeply personal and serious matter. The place where you practice them should be treated as such.

The Bible speaks of it as “entering your closet.” Examples of places are

  • In bed at night (great choice!)
  • In your office at work (close the door.)
  • Your own meditation corner
  • In your car (drive to a private area.)

Be creative!

  • Relax Once you have found your private spot or your “closet,” it’s time to let go of the Outside World and enter into the Inside World.
  • Close your eyes, sit back and allow yourself to really relax. Some ways to deeply relax include
  • Slow, deep, rhythmic breathing for a minute or two (or 3-5 minutes.)
  • Visualize or imagine a beautiful, peaceful scene from nature.
  • Lay back in an armchair, lazy-boy, or bed and allow all of your muscles to completely relax. (Don’t fall asleep!)
  • I like to sit in a half lotus meditation position
  • Enter the State, Neville talks a lot about “states.” When he mentions the word “state,” he is talking about the specific identity that creates your emotional state.

He’s talking about your overall mood or what you are feeling. You will hear (more than once) that you are to enter into the “state” or the “mood” or the “feeling” of the wish fulfilled.

These are all the same things! So, here is the secret: Get into the state, the mood, or the feeling of your wish having been already fulfilled and your desires will come true!

Later on in the book I’ll share with you the Formula that I currently teach to create the life of your dreams as well as how I do a “Feel it Real” meditation session.

The Formula

Freedom#: I’ve taken back my life… so can you. When you stop living like the sheep – walking around half asleep…

You have to give yourself permission to be, happy and healthy, wealthy and healed

Here’s the key, but you have to put in the lock and open it.

My life was falling apart, until I remembered… until I Imagined – until I began to follow the Formula and Feel It Real that life changed for me – big time

Now it’s your turn J

Formula:

First Law – The Promise — Action

First Law – Be still. Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I AM God

The law of I AM, or your image in action (Imagination)

“No matter what happens turn within and be still. Know that your awareness is God and that all things are possible to you.”

You manifest what you “want” in life – by feeling at one with it now. Create in you, the feeling you would have, if you are right now the man/woman you have chosen to be.  Notice how you would feel, if you were already that person – if you already had that level of success.  Feel as if what you have wanted – is yours already – by imagining something that would imply – your wish has been fulfilled. Neville Goddard. The Law.

The reason why THE LAW works, is that you are one with God.

JOHN 14:10 “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”

Philippians 2:6 “Who, being in the form of God (Genesis 1:27 “And God made man, according to the image of God he made him, male and female he made them. … So God created humans to be like himself; he made men and women) thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

The Promise – John 14:12 “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes as me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things”

Action – Feel it real and Revision – Acts 17:27 “That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him” 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

“As you review your day, it is important to revise each negative reaction so that you can remember it as what you wished had happened rather than storing that memory as it did occur.”

“What you think of with feeling or emotion is an actual fact. That which you experience in the physical world is merely a shadow, reflecting the reality of your imaginal activity. Therefore, when you revise a conversation, an unhappy experience, or a quality about yourself, you are literally experiencing it in reality” (your consciousness, you will understand this better when we look at the parable of the mustard seed).

Take Away #1: What is an ACTUAL FACT?

What you experienced in the physical world is considered merely a shadow.

What you THINK of with FEELING OR EMOTION is what is considers the ACTUAL FACT.

Did YOU notice?  This is the exact opposite…of what most people believe. And maybe that is why miracles seem to be so rare in their world. (And even if they happened, they would deny them.)

“The outer world is a delayed reflection of the inner and is confined to a dimension of space where events occur in a time sequence. Revision, then, literally changes the past.”

“It replaces what occurred in the outer world with the revised version. The revised scene then gives off its effect by going forth to change future events.”

Remember, the OUTER WORLD is a delayed reflection – it FOLLOWS YOU.

So if what you want hasn’t happened YET, remain faithful and REVISE what has happened already – that you think works against you.

TAKE AWAY #2:  REVISION works because…”everyone reacts to MEMORIES.”

What is a memory? A memory is nothing more than an imaginal act.

You can have a memory about what happened in the physical world of shadow dominate your life, or you can create with an imagined memory – where every mystic teaches is THE REAL WORLD.

John 4:35, “Don’t you have a saying, ‘Four more months and then the harvest’? Well, what I say to you is: open your eyes and look at the fields! They’re already ripe for harvest”

Remember, Neville says to always be investing.

  • Invest your time.
  • Invest your money.
  • Invest your imaginal acts.

“So tonight I want to talk to you about the first principle, which you can always fall back on when in doubt. This first principle is: “Be still and know that I am God.”

“No matter what happens turn within and be still. Know that your awareness is God and that all things are possible to you.” – Neville Goddard

  1. You manifest what you want in life – by feeling at one with it now. Create in you, the feeling you would have, if you are right now the man/woman you have chosen to be. Notice how you would feel, if you were already that person – if you already had that level of success. Feel as if what you have wanted – is yours already – by imagining something that would imply – your wish has been fulfilled. This is what Neville called “THE LAW”.
  2. The reason why THE LAW works, is that you are one with God.  Neville called this, THE PROMISE. What most people think they are, is the mask God wears. What you truly are, is God having the adventure of a lifetime. You don’t have to talk yourself into that, but just start to notice – what you really are – is what gives life to your body. Do that long enough, and you’ll begin to notice that what you really are – is one with the spirit that moves within all things.

And when you choose to live your life 100% in alignment with these two principles, everything changes – big time.

Revision explained

…and make FEEL IT REAL your TOTAL way of life, you will find your old friends “hope and doubt” DIE, – and you find it MUCH EASIER to manifest ALL your desires – because you KNOW – who you are and how this works. – Coach Ockert

What you are about to learn are what we called Neville’s Points of Power. These are what Neville Goddard pre-supposed was true – about himself – about the world – about reality. If you choose to adopt them completely and to eliminate ANY conflicting ideas you might have about reality, you will find that his methods work much more effectively and quickly.

  1. We are one with God. There is no separation. Neville shares, “We are the father.”
  2. There is no outside cause – all that happens – all that we can respond to – is projected from the imagination. “Everything is subject to us – our imagination.”
  3. Everything that can be touched, seen or heard – is in the world of David – the world of EFFECT. (This is VERY life changing and empowering – once you read what we share about this and the mind of Neville Goddard.)
  4. The Truth about your body. Your body is part of the universe. And when you imagine to the point when your body responds, you understand that, THAT is the first part of THE UNIVERSE responding – to your intent and to your imagination.

“All that you behold, though it appears without it is within, of which this world of mortality is but a shadow. If you will but enter a state in your imagination, and assume its truth, the outer world will respond to your assumption, for it is your shadow, forever bearing witness to your inner imaginal activity.” – Neville Goddard

Results are what matter most. And to get the results you want, it helps to REALLY understand the TOOLS you have in your toolbox.

This will help you understand how to choose and how to use the three basic methods of manifesting – so you can live more and more fully the life of your dreams.

There are three basic tools in the Toolkit. These are:

  • Revision
  • I Remember When
  • The Congratulatory Conversation.

Each of these tools has ONE primary way of using it – sort of like how you use a hammer with a nail, a screw driver with a screw, and a staple with a staple gun.

We’ll explain every one of these tools as we go on with examples

What Exactly Is A Feel It Real Session

Let’s dive into this Neville Goddard quote……where he gives a very quick summary of how simple a Feel It Real session can be for you.

“With your eyes closed and your physical body immobilized induce a state akin to sleep and enter into the action as though you were an actor playing the part.”

“Experience in imagination what you would experience in the flesh were you now in possession of your objective.”

“Make elsewhere HERE and then NOW. And the greater you, using a larger focus will use all means, and call them good, which tend toward the production of that which you have assumed.” – Neville Goddard

In a way, it really is that simple…

But YES there is MORE!

Neville ALSO taught all kinds of subtle bits and pieces you can find scattered in his lectures – that he discovered that his listeners ALSO NEEDED TO KNOW as well – to get the results in life they wanted.

To speed up even more – dive deeper…

Here are three of my most favorited clues that I found that will help you even more of what Neville taught quickly to amp up your results:

Three steps for success, this is how to Feel It Real effectively.

Let’s dive in and make it happen today with these great quotes and lessons from Neville.

“The first step in changing the future is Desire, that is, define your objective — know definitely what you want.” – Neville Goddard

Know what YOU desire. Remember, it’s not knowing “about” it. It’s actually knowing it.  What can you do today, to more fully KNOW your ideal, so you can more fully feel it real

Today’s Take Away:  I had a stuck client who was trying to reprogram his mind by saying all the time he was “swimming in money“. (And for some reason, he was drowning in desperation when he started working with me.) I asked him on a coaching call, “Do people who have money – walk around saying they are swimming in it?” “Do they actually swim in it?” Of course, his answer was no way.

So I got him using exercises to focus instead on actually KNOWING what it is like to HAVE EXTRA MONEY (something you can actually know, compared to swimming in money – which is something you can’t know and that your subconscious mind can’t make sense of.)

He changed his focus that day to HAVING EXTRA MONEY, and his circumstances changed rapidly. (Simple and true. And you can get more simple; profound and life changing shifts like this in today when you decide to join us and become a member Link to membership area not activated yet of the “Awakened Imagination – Change your Memory, Change your Life” Tribe.

Next.

“Second: construct an event which you believe you would encounter FOLLOWING the fulfilment of your desire – an event which implies fulfilment of your desire – something which will have the action of Self predominant.” – Neville Goddard

Congratulatory scenes are our favourite events – that FOLLOW the fulfilment of your desire. (They help you eliminate the mistake of imagining “the event” itself, that builds pressure into your life and tends to feel fake or forceful.)

Imagine you reviewing your success – with friends who are congratulating you. (Notice how we expand on this in the next section.)

“The third step is to immobilize the physical body and induce a state akin to sleep. Then mentally feel yourself right into the proposed action, imagine all the while that you are actually performing the action HERE AND NOW. You must participate in the imaginary action, not merely stand back and look on, but FEEL that you are actually performing the action, so that the imaginary sensation is real to you.” – Neville Goddard

Neville says you must participate IN THE IMAGINARY ACTION. Show your friends “how you did it”, use your hands.

While in your congratulatory scene, raise your imaginary hand and feel the high five of congratulations from someone you love.

Do NOT just look on – like it was a movie with you in it. Be involved in your imagination, and you will have it in the physical world. (Look on from a distance in your imagination – and you will see people AROUND YOU in the physical world – get what you wanted instead.)

Strong basics. That is what every successful person we know sticks with. And that’s why we built the “Awakened Imagination – Change your Memory, Change your Life” Tribe. Link to membership area

Remember, strong simple basics lead to repeated success.

Stick with what works, discard ENTIRELY what doesn’t, and remember to FEEL YOUR IDEAL AS REAL.

Neville Goddard – The Single Act

What happens if your mind just wonders all over the place when I am doing my sessions?

If you have ever found your imagination wondering onto things that have NOTHING to do with your session, this lesson is a great one for you.

Let’s dive in with the words of Neville.

“For instance, if I single out as an event, shaking a man’s hand, then that is the only thing I do. I do not shake it, then light a cigarette and do a thousand other things.”

“I simply imagine that I am actually shaking hands and keep the act going over and over and over again until the imaginary act has all the feeling of reality. The event must always imply fulfilment of the wish. Always construct an event which you believe you would naturally encounter following the fulfilment of your desire.” – Neville Goddard

When you discipline the mind, learn how to focus the imagination and fully SURRENDER – to the state of your wish fulfilled – it is easy to see how the untrained imagination bounces from possibility to possibility – often stuff you DO NOT want to happen.

In the physical world, this often shows up being scattered, having clutter, and never getting anything done.

Use what Neville shares here. Before you do your Feel It Real sessions, decide EXACTLY what that SINGLE ACT will be.

And if you find the vine of your mind growing wild – prune it. Return to “the handshake” and only the handshake.  This the beginning in how to Feel It Real fast!

BONUS POINTS:  Focus on that SINGLE ACT that matters – make it one that implies the wish fulfilled – and buckle up – this is where it gets good.

How will you use this SINGLE EVENT today?

Make this your motto – if you want truly Master Manifesting.

“Intend From a Segment – Collapse To A Point”.

From a segment of time in the future:

After we have paid off the mortgage and own our home and lands free and clear.

We are having a house party. People are asking for details – on how we did it.

The chinking of the glasses. – The Collapse to a Point.

From a segment of time in the future:

You are being interviewed by a reporter – about your best selling book – that went to the top of the charts 10 years earlier.

They are asking for details on how you wrote it.

You see a look of total shock, amazement and admiration on their face.

And they give you a high five – The Collapse to a point.

From a segment of time in the future:

After you have been married for many years to your ideal partner.

You are sitting quietly on the loveseat together, talking about your adventures, looking at your photobook.

And you come across a very special photo – and you both lovingly squeeze each other’s hand – Collapsed to a point.

TODAY’S TAKEAWAY: The scenes start “in a segment of time”…

They didn’t get forced into a particular date.

And did you notice, that they are looking back and have INVOLVEMENT and CONVERSATION. They tend to have a beautiful frozen moment – where the seed is planted – which locks in your results. VIOLA!

The way I do my feel it real sessions approximately 20 minutes:

I love sitting in a half lotus position in my meditation corner

5 minutes

In preparing myself to go into a deep state of meditation I will focus on positive feelings – Day dream and become quiet

10 minutes

Next I’ll do some positive affirmations – General/Health/Money

Next I’ll connect with the Divine

Next I’ll state what I intend to manifest

Next I’ll “daydream” about what happens after the wish fulfilled

Next I’ll make the goal smaller by confirming it’s easy to manifest, because I know that I’m always manifesting, so this is just an extension of what I normally do

5 minutes

Now I’ll just relax, focus on my breathing and revel in “mission” accomplished

Okay with all of that being said, let’s look at the Real Lesson of the Mustard Seed – And the Lie Most People Fall for

To SPEED UP your manifesting, we are going to SMASH TO BITS one of the biggest LIES… that has been taught by organised religion…that block your blessings and keep you frustrated and slow things down.

  • This LIE is what I was taught, and believed for a long time.
  • This LIE is what I learned from “the secret”.
  • This LIE is what almost everyone else out there is STILL SAYING.

And this LIE is 100% WRONG….

“You only need a small bit of faith to succeed – the faith the size of the mustard seed, but, you must wait until the mustard seed grow into a tree”

That’s a BOLDFACED LIE!

It’s 100% all wrong!

And it’s not how we are supposed to live, or how Jesus lived.

If we want the EASY SPEEDY results Jesus got, then we’ve got to do what he did.

Let’s dive deeper into this…and then apply it wildly to your life – so you get what you want – starting right now.

Okay, hold on to your hat, here comes the revelation

“The grain of mustard seed is not the measure of a small amount of faith. On the contrary, it is the absolute in faith.”

A mustard seed is conscious of being a mustard seed and a mustard seed alone. It is not aware of any other seed in the world.”

“It is sealed in the conviction that it is a mustard seed in the same manner that the spermatozoa sealed in the womb is conscious of being a human being and only a human being.”

How could they (ME) have MISSED THAT ENTIRELY?

FOLLOW THE FORMULA, APPLY THE LAW – ROCK YOUR WORLD!

The Law of Assumption

To really understand the Law of Assumption we have to understand the power of your imagination. Einstein so famously said, “Imagination is more important than facts”, more about that as we go on.

But for now, there’s no such thing as “I imagine ABC and reality gave me 123”. That’s not possible. If you get 123, you are imagining 123. Imagining stands for “acknowledge as real” sorry. Always.

Okay, on to the Law of Assumption. I call this God’s Law, because it is the universal law by which everything exists and manifests.

Whether you know it or not, you have been living by that law your whole life and it has shaped your world.

The Law of Assumption Not the Law of Attraction

But what is the law of assumption you might ask and how does it differ from the law of attraction?

A New Apartment Building Excerpted from The Law and the Promise

For many years a doctor and his wife “dreamed” about their “stately habitation”, but not until they imaginatively lived in it, did they manifest it.

Here is their story: “Some fifteen years ago, Mrs. M. and I purchased a lot on which we built a two story building housing our office and living area. We left ample space on the lot for an apartment building — if and when our finances would permit.

All those years we were busy paying off our mortgage, and at the end of that time had no money for the additional building we still desired so much. It was true that we had an ample savings account which meant security for our business, but to use any part of it for a new building would be to jeopardize that security.

“But now your teaching awakened a new concept, boldly telling us we could have what we most desired through the controlled use of our imagination and that realizing a desire was made more convincing ‘without money’.

We decided to put it to a test to forget about ‘money’ and concentrate our attention on the thing we desired most in this world — the new apartment building. “With this principle in mind, we mentally constructed the new building as we wanted it, actually drawing physical plans so we could better formulate our mental picture of the completed structure.

Never forgetting to think from the end (in our case, the completed, occupied building), we took many imaginative trips through our apartment house, renting the units to imaginary tenants, examining in detail every room and enjoying the feeling of pride as friends offered congratulations on the unique planning.

We brought into our imaginal scene one friend in particular (I shall call her Mrs. X), a lady we had not seen for some time as she had ‘given us up’ socially, believing us a bit peculiar in our new way of thinking. In our imaginal scene, we took her through the building and asked how she liked it.

Hearing her voice distinctly, we had her reply, ‘Doctor, I think it is beautiful’. “One day, while talking together of our building, my wife mentioned a contractor who had constructed several apartment houses in our neighborhood.

We knew of him only by the name that appeared on signs adjacent to buildings under construction. But realizing that if we were living in the end, we would not be looking for a contractor, we promptly forgot this angle.

Continuing these periods of daily imagining for several weeks, we both felt we were now ‘fused’ with our desire and had successfully been living in the end. “One day a stranger entered our office and identified himself as the contractor whose name my wife had mentioned weeks before. In an apologetic manner, he said, ‘I don’t know why I stopped here. I normally don’t go to see people, but rather, people come to see me’.

He explained that he passed our office often and had wondered why there wasn’t an apartment building on the corner lot. We assured him we would like very much to have such a building there but that we had no money to put into the project, not even the few hundred dollars it would take for plans.

“Our negative response did not faze him and seemingly compelled, he began to figure and devise ways and means to carry out the job, unasked and unencouraged by us.

Forgetting the incident, we were quite startled when a few days later this man called, informing us that plans were completed and that the proposed building would cost us thirty thousand dollars! We thanked him politely and did absolutely nothing. We knew we had been ‘living imaginatively in the end’ of a completed building and that Imagination would assemble that building perfectly without any ‘outside’ assistance from us.

So, we were not surprised when the contractor called again the next day to say he had found a set of blueprints in his files that fitted our needs perfectly with few alterations. This, we were informed, would save us the architect’s fee for new plans. We thanked him again and still did nothing.

“Logical thinkers would insist that such negative response from prospective customers would completely end the matter. Instead, two days later, the contractor again called with the news that he had located a finance company willing to cover the necessary loan with the exception of a few thousand dollars.

It sounds incredible, but we still did nothing. For — remember — to us this building was completed and rented, and in our imagination we had not put one penny into its construction.

“The balance of this tale reads like a sequel to ‘Alice In Wonderland’, for the contractor came to our office the next day and said, as though presenting us with a gift, ‘You people are going to have that new building anyway.

I’ve decided to finance the balance of the loan myself. If this is agreeable, I’ll have my lawyer draw up the papers, and you can pay me back out of net profits from rentals’. “This time we did do something! We signed the papers, and construction began immediately.

Most of the apartment units were rented before final completion, and all but one occupied the day of completion. We were so thrilled by the seemingly miraculous events of the past few months that for a while we didn’t understand this seeming ‘flaw’ in our imaginal picture.

But knowing what we had already accomplished through the power of imagining, we immediately conceived another imaginal scene and in it, this time, instead of showing the party through the unit and hearing the words ‘we’ll take it’, we ourselves in imagination visited tenants who had already moved in that apartment.

We allowed them to show us through the rooms and heard their pleased and satisfied comments. Three days later that apartment was rented.

“Our original imaginary drama had objectified itself in every detail save one, and that one became a reality when, one month later, our friend, Mrs. X, surprised us with a long overdue visit, expressing her desire to see our new building. Gladly we took her through, and at the end of the tour heard her speak the line we had heard in our imagination so many weeks before, as with emphasis on each word, she said, ‘Doctor, I think it is beautiful’.

“Our dream of fifteen years was realized. And we know, now, that it could have been realized any time within those fifteen years if we had known the secret of imagining and how to ‘live in the end’ of desire.

But now it was realized — our one big desire was objectified. And we did not put one penny of our own money into it.” — Dr. M. Through the medium of a dream — a controlled, waking dream — the Doctor and his wife created reality.

They learned how to live in their dream house as, in fact, now they do. Although help seemingly came from without, the course of events was ultimately determined by the imaginal activity of the Doctor and his wife.

The participants were drawn into their imaginal drama because it was dramatically necessary that they should be. Their imaginal structure demanded it.

A New Car Excerpt from Imagination Creates Reality

Mrs. C.D. had recently been divorced and needed to work to support her children as her husband refused to pay child support.

Although her lawyer suggested taking him to court for non-payment, the woman did not wish to do this. As part of the divorce settlement, she was awarded a very old and not very reliable car.

One Friday night as she was driving home from work, it was raining very hard and most intersections were flooded. She was about a mile from her home when she stopped at a stop sign.

A truck coming toward her from the opposite direction went through the intersection, spraying a great deal of water as he drove past. The engine of the woman’s car died and she was unable to start it again.

She removed her shoes before stepping out of her car as the water was more than ankle deep. She raised the hood and began to dry off the distributor cap with her handkerchief. She was crying at this point and her tears mingled with the rain.

She finally got her car started and managed to get home to her children. She realized that it was necessary to have a dependable car if she was to work and support her children.

She had no money for a down payment on a newer car and she did not earn enough to make car payments. She went to work the following Monday and a co-worker asked her to go to lunch.

The co-worker had just purchased a new Pontiac Tempest and insisted that Mrs. C.D. drive her new car back to the office.

Although Mrs. C.D. protested that she did not wish to drive someone’s new car, she did get behind the wheel and drove back to work. While she was driving the new car, she captured the feeling that this was her car and she felt the thrill of owning it.

For the rest of the week, while she drove back and forth to work in her old car. Mrs. C.D. imagined that she was driving a brand new car of her own.

The next Friday, Mrs. C.D.’s ex-husband called and asked if she would like to have a new car. This was the first time since their divorce several months earlier that he had offered to do anything for her, including paying child support.

The ex-husband was now working for a new car dealership and told her that, as a salesman, he was eligible to buy a certain make of car for no money down and with very low monthly payments.

He said he was willing to make the monthly payments in lieu of child support and asked her to come to the dealership to pick out the color she wanted. It just so happened that the make of car eligible for this special deal was a Pontiac Tempest, the same make and model as the car she had driven that belonged to her coworker.

Mrs. C.D. was able to obtain, through her use of imagination, what she could never have obtained through her own efforts at that time. Her ex-husband, who had offered her no monetary support for months, was the avenue chosen to provide her with the car she needed

A New Home Excerpt from Imagination Creates Reality

This Story concerns a woman (who will be referred to as Mrs. A.B). She knew that “imagination creates reality” and had taught this principal to her three children, ages 12, 10, and 6.

She had practiced this principal for years to obtain the things she desired. Although her husband had also heard this teaching, he had not put it into practice and actually was quite skeptical about results. One Sunday afternoon, this family went for a drive and came upon a new tract of homes for sale.

As this was a lovely rural area, they stopped to look at the new models. They all loved the area, and the homes were large and beautiful with all sorts of modern amenities. On the way home, they talked about how wonderful it would be to own a new home in this tract.

They already owned a home; however, they had borrowed money on it and had very little equity that could be derived from its sale. The husband said that although he would like to buy the home, it was not possible as they could not raise the money required for the down payment.

Even if they sold their present home, the real estate agent’s commission would equal the little equity they would realize Mrs. A.B. told her husband that the only way they could obtain the down payment would be to sell their home on their own, thereby keeping the commission for themselves.

The husband was very pessimistic about this but told his wife to go ahead and place an ad in the paper although he knew “it wouldn’t do any good.” He was sure that there was no chance of selling the house in this way.

The wife placed a small ad in the newspaper advertising their house for sale. A few nights later when the husband had gone to bed early, she and her children drove to the tract of new homes. She felt that if she could walk through the new house and capture the feeling of actually living there, she would obtain her “dream home.”

It was dark when they got there, but they found one of the houses unlocked. She and the three children walked through the house. The children decided on which bedroom each would occupy if they actually lived there.

The mother instructed the children to actually sleep in the new house in their imagination that night, and she intended to do the same. For the next few days, they imagined living in their new home and taking walks in the woods that were adjacent to the tract.

That same week, a man answered the ad in the paper. He did not seem very enthusiastic about buying the house but returned later that day with his wife. He told Mrs. A.B. that they had decided to buy the house for the price she was asking.

When Ms. A.B. expressed concern as to how they would go about placing the home in escrow, he told her that he was a real estate agent and would go through the company he worked for. This family received the exact amount of money necessary for a down payment on their new home.

The escrow was very short, and the family moved into their new home a month later. Mrs. A.B. knew that if she imagined herself sleeping in her new home, she would eventually sleep there in the flesh. Her children also learned how to obtain their heart’s desire through the use of imagination.

A New Home 2 Excerpt from The Law and the Promise

The following story illustrates the way in which a lady prepared her “stately habitation” by imaginatively sleeping in it— or “dwelling therein.”

“A few months ago my husband decided to place our home on the market. The main object for the move which we had discussed many times was to find a home large enough for the two of us, my mother and my aunt, in addition to ten cats, three dogs and one parakeet.

Believe it or not, the contemplated move was my husband’s idea as he loved my mother and aunt and said I was at their house most of the time anyway, so ‘why not live together and pay one tax bill?’ I liked the idea tremendously, but I knew that this new home would have to be something very special in size, location and arrangement as I insisted on privacy for all concerned.

“So at the moment I was undecided whether to sell our present home or not, but I didn’t argue as I knew quite well from past experience with imagining that our house would never sell until I stopped ‘sleeping’ in it.

Two months and four or five real estate brokers later, my husband had ‘given up’ on the sale of our house and so had the brokers. At this point I had convinced myself I now wanted the change, so for four nights in my imagination I went to sleep in the kind of home I would like to own. On the fifth day, my husband had an appointment at a friend’s home and while there, met a stranger who ‘just happened’ to be looking for a house in the hills.

He was, of course, brought swiftly back to see our house which he walked through once and said, ‘I’ll buy it.’ This didn’t make us very popular with the brokers, but that was all right with me as I was happy to keep the broker’s commission in the family! We moved within ten days and stayed with my mother while looking for our new home.

“We listed our requirements with every agent on the Sunset Strip only (because I wouldn’t move out of the area) and each one of them without exception informed us we were both mad.

It was entirely impossible, they said, to find an older home of English style with two separate living rooms, separate apartments, a library, and built on a flat knoll with enough ground space to fence large dogs—and located in one particular area.

When we told them the price we would pay for this house they just looked sad. “I said that wasn’t all we wanted. We wanted wood paneling all through the house, a huge fireplace, a magnificent view and seclusion—no close neighbors, please.

At this point the lady agent would giggle and remind me that there was no such house, but if there were they would realize five times what we were willing to pay. But I knew there was such a house— because my imagination had been sleeping in it, and if I am my imagination, then I had been sleeping in it.

“By the second week we had exhausted five real estate offices, and the gentleman in the sixth office was looking a little wild when one of his partners who had not spoken until then said, ‘Why don’t you show them the place up Kings Road?’

A third partner in the office laughed sourly and said, ‘That property isn’t even listed. And besides—the old lady would throw you off the property. She’s got two acres up there and you know she wouldn’t split.’ “Well, I didn’t know what she wouldn’t split, but my interest had been aroused by the street name for I liked that particular area best of all.

So I asked why not just take a look anyway, for laughs. As we drove up the street and turned off onto a private road, we approached a large two-story house built of redwood and brick, English in appearance, surrounded by tall trees and sitting alone and aloof on its own knoll, viewing the city below from all of its many windows.

I felt a peculiar excitement as we walked to the front door and were greeted by a lovely woman who graciously asked us in. “I do not think I breathed for the next minute or two, for I had walked into the most exquisite room I had ever seen. The solid redwood walls and the brick of a great fireplace rose to a height of twenty-eight feet terminating in an arched ceiling joined together by huge redwood beams.

The room was straight out of Dickens, and I could almost hear Christmas carolers singing on the balcony of the upstairs dining room which looked out over the living room. A great cathedral window gave a view of sky, mountains and city far below, and the beautiful old redwood walls glowed in the sunlight.

We were shown through a spacious apartment on the lower floor with connecting library, separate entrance and separate patio. Two staircases led upward to a long hall opening into two separated bedrooms and baths, and at the end of the hall was—yes—a second living room, opening out onto a second patio screened by trees and redwood fencing.

“Built on two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, I began to understand what the agent had meant by saying, ‘she wouldn’t split’ for on one acre stood a large swimming pool and pool house completely separated from the main house but undoubtedly belonging to it. It did, indeed, seem to be an impossible situation as we did not want two acres of highly taxable property plus a swimming pool a block away from the house.

“Before we left, I walked through that magnificent living room, once more going up the stairs to the dining room balcony. I turned, and looking down saw my husband standing by the fireplace, pipe in hand, with an expression of perfect satisfaction on his face. I placed my hands on the balcony railing and watched him for a moment.

“When we were back in the real estate office, the three agents were ready to close for the day, but my husband detained them saying, ‘Let’s make her an offer anyway. Maybe she will split the property. What can we lose?’ One agent left the office without a word. Another said, ‘The idea is ridiculous.’

The agent we had originally talked to said, ‘Forget it. It’s a pipe dream.’ My husband is not easily annoyed but when he is, there is no more stubborn creature on earth. He was now annoyed. He sat down, slammed his hand on a desk and roared, ‘It’s your business to submit offers, isn’t it?’

They agreed that this was so and finally promised to submit our offer on the property. “We left, and that night—in my imagination—I stood on that dining room balcony and looked down at my husband standing by the fireplace. He looked up at me and said, ‘Well, honey, how do you like our new home?’

I said, ‘I love it.’ I continued to see that beautiful room and my husband in it and ‘felt’ the balcony railing gripped in my hands until I fell asleep. “The next day as we were having dinner in my mother’s house, the telephone rang and the agent, in an unbelieving voice, informed me that we had just purchased a house. The owner had split the property right down the middle, giving us the house and the acre it stood on for the price we offered.” . . . J.R.B.

A New Husband and a New Home Excerpt from Imagination Creates Reality

Mrs. J.K. was living in her twin sister’s home after having been divorced. Mrs. J.K. had three children, a son and girl and boy twins. Her sister and her husband had three boys. Needless to say, this was a crowded household. Mrs. J.K. was very desirous of getting married and living in her own home.

She had been dating a man but decided that she did not wish to continue the relationship and broke it off. Many of her friends attempted to “fix” Mrs. J.K. up with eligible men they knew, but she was not interested in going on blind dates. Several of her friends commented that if she wished to meet an eligible man, she would need to get out and go places.

The twins believed in the creative power of imagination, and they had a friend who also knew of the power of imagining. The three women determined that they would imagine a ring on Mrs. J.K.’s finger, which would imply that she was married. They did this for several weeks.

During this time, Mrs. J.K. also imagined herself living in her own home. However, when she attempted to do so, she found herself imagining a home exactly like her sister’s. One day, Mrs. J.K. received a call from a friend who asked her to come to her home and help her wallpaper her kitchen.

Mrs. J.K. agreed to help her friend who lived a few blocks away in the same tract of homes. While she was there, a male neighbor came to visit her friend. The friend introduced Mrs. J.K. to her neighbor. He later called Mrs. J.K. and they began to date. Five months later, Mrs. J.K. married this man.

The interesting part of this story is that all of these people lived in the same large tract of homes. There were only four homes in the tract of 1200 that had the same floor plan.

Yes, this woman’s husband owned one of the homes that had the same floor plan as Mrs. J.K.’s twin sister. Even though Mrs. J.K. imagined herself living in her own home, she had only been able to imagine herself living in a house identical to her sister’s.

Marriage Proposal Excerpt from The Law and the Promise.

Try to revise your day every night before falling asleep. Try to visualize clearly and enter into the revised scene which would be the imaginal solution of your problem. The revised imaginal structure may have a great influence on others, but that is not your concern.

The “other” influenced in the following story is profoundly grateful for that influence. L.S.E. writes: “Last August, while on a ‘blind date’ I met the man I wanted to marry. This happens sometimes, and it happened to me. He was everything I had ever thought of as desirable in a husband.

Two days after this enchanted evening, it was necessary for me to change my place of residence because of my work, and that same week the mutual friend who had introduced me to this man, moved away from the city. I realized that the man I had met probably did not know of my new address, and frankly, I was not sure he knew my name. “After your last lecture, I spoke to you of this situation.

Although I had plenty of other ‘dates’ I could not forget this one man. Your lecture was based on revising our day; and after speaking to you, I determined to revise my day, every day. Before going to sleep that night, I felt I was in a different bed, in my own home, as a married woman — and not as a single working girl, sharing an apartment with three other girls.

I twisted an imaginary wedding band on my imaginary left hand, saying over and over to myself, ‘This is wonderful! I really am Mrs. J.E.!’ and I fell asleep in what was — a moment before — a waking dream. “I repeated this imaginary scene for one month, night after night. The first week in October he ‘found’ me. On our second date, I knew my dreams were rightly placed.

Your teaching tells us to live in the end of our desire until that desire becomes ‘fact’ so although I did not know how he felt toward me, I continued, night after night, living in the feeling of my dream realized.

“The results? In November he proposed. In January we announced our engagement; and the following May we were married. The loveliest part of it all, however, is that I am happier than I ever dreamed possible; and I know in my heart, he is too.”…Mrs. J.E. By using her imagination radically, instead of conservatively — by building her world out of pure dreams of fancy —, rather than using images supplied by memory, she brought about the fulfillment of her dream. Common sense would have used images supplied by her memory, and thereby perpetuated the fact of lack in her life. Imagination created what she desired out of a dream of fancy.

Everyone must live wholly on the level of imagination, and it must be consciously and deliberately undertaken. If our time of revision be well spent, we need not worry about results — our fondest hopes will be realized.

There is no inevitable permanence in anything. Both past and present continue to exist only because they are sustained by “Imagining” on some level or other; and a radical transformation of life is always possible by man revising the undesirable part of it.

To Live Near the Ocean Excerpt from Imagination Creates Reality.

This is the story of Mrs. E. F., who had a desire to live near the ocean and used her imagination to fulfill her desire. She did not wish to sell her present home but wanted to lease it for a year before making the decision to move to the beach permanently. Mrs. E. F. told two of her friends about her wish.

One friend, who had used the principle of imagination, told Mrs. E. F. that she would imagine visiting her at the beach in her new home. One week later, Mrs. E. F. traveled to Hawaii for a scheduled vacation. While there, she received a call from a friend who lived in San Diego. This friend told Mrs. E. F. that a perfect little house had just come on the market as a year-round rental and she thought this house would be perfect for Mrs. E. F.

Her friend also said that this was a very desirable rental and that Mrs. E. F. would need to make a decision immediately as the rental would very likely not be available when she returned from Hawaii. Mrs. E. F. told her friend to tell the owners that she would take it, trusting her friend’s recommendation.

Upon Mrs. E. F.’s return from Hawaii, she told her grown daughter that she had decided to rent a house at the beach in San Diego. Her daughter called her later that day and said that the mother of a friend of hers wanted to lease a house. The woman came by the next day, said she loved the house, and would like to lease it for a year. Mrs. E. F. gave notice at work and was able to move within a month. Since she was a nurse, she had no trouble finding a wonderful new job at a nearby hospital.

Mrs. E. F. has since bought a house near the ocean and has spent 17 happy years living at the beach. Mrs. E. F. imagined that she was living at the beach, and her friend imagined that she was visiting her there.

They did this for one week. It is interesting that while she was on vacation in Hawaii, events moved swiftly to bring about her desire. She did nothing to find a new home nor did she do anything to rent her present home. Imagination was able to draw the necessary people into her life so that her wish could be fulfilled.

“What should be done after we have imagined our wishful filled?” Nothing! You think you can do something, you want to do something, but actually you can do nothing to bring it about. God, our own wonderful human imagination, knows what things are necessary to bring about our desires. It is only necessary to go to the end, to live in the end. “My ways are past finding out.”

“My ways are higher than your ways.” If we trust our imagination, it will “accomplish all that we ask of it.” Imagination can do all things – have faith in it, and nothing shall be impossible to you

Winning the Race Excerpt from Imagination Creates Reality.

This story concerns a young man (referred to as E.P) who was a wonderful athlete and was good at many different sports. During this particular time in his life, he became interested in paddling outrigger canoes.

He joined a team and was soon competing in local races. In his second year of pursuing this sport, he was on a team that competed in the 50-mile race from Molokai to Honolulu. The Hawaiian outrigger teams usually took first place and were considered “unbeatable.” E.P.’s team came in 7th and that was considered quite remarkable considering the great number of teams that competed from all over the world along with the Hawaiian participants.

After this race, E.P. began imagining that his team had won the race. He spent the next year forming a new team, practicing, and building his own outrigger canoe. He was convinced that if he imagined himself winning the race, his team would come in first. The, next year, his team and at least a dozen others flew to Hawaii from Southern California to compete in the annual race.

There were several teams with much more experience who were considered likely to place in the top ten, although the Hawaiians were still considered the favorites. At the end of the race, E.P.’s team finished first, ahead of the Hawaiians and all the other teams. E.P. now holds a paddle engraved with the words “World Champion” which was given to him upon his team taking first place.

After winning this coveted title, this young man went on to coach other teams. He also began manufacturing paddles for outrigger canoes. His paddles are known throughout the world and are used by outrigger teams who are among the top teams in the world. E.P. now makes his home in Hawaii and enjoys coaching teams, manufacturing paddles, fishing and sailing his own boat. He also uses his boat as an escort craft for the annual outrigger races.

Okay, now it’s your turn. Practice the techniques and write your own testimony……

While you are doing it, REMEMBER to have FUN.
